IRCC will come into force to extend the length of stay for super visa holders to 5 years

We were given wonderful news today by Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship that on July 4, 2022, IRCC will come into force to extend the length of stay for super visa holders to 5 years per entry into Canada and also allow them to extend their stay in Canada by up to two years at a time while in the country. That is a maximum of seven consecutive years.

For you to be eligible, your child or grandchild must provide you with an invitation letter and meet the minimum income requirements; a medical check, proof of medical insurance, etc.
